my husband actually purchased this item from his own amazon account so this review will not show up as a verified amazon purchase but i wanted to write a review anyway since the product has been so popular with our little one. most people say they bought this because they were expecting another child and wanted to make sure the older one could still ride if the baby were in the main seat. not the case with us. our two-year-old just started complaining about being in the stroller and refusing to walk. it got so bad that we'd walk almost a half block away while she just stood there bawling, expecting to be picked up and carried. even though my husband would do so, i didn't want her getting used to it (especially once she gets heavier) so i started looking around for something like this. we weren't sure if this would fit our peg perego si (and couldn't find anything in the description or other reviews that would indicate so) but i decided to take a chance and return it if it didn't fit. the instructions were definitely NOT as clear as they could be but even so, my husband assembled and installed it on our stroller in less than half an hour. it seems to be designed in a way that would allow it to fit most strollers in that it attaches to two rear "legs" and can be adjusted for height and width of those "legs".

anyway, the next day we introduced the little one to it, and she has not ridden in the stroller seat since (about a week now)! she loves standing on the platform and is great about holding on properly. the platform has some shocks so it's not as rough as i thought it would be even going over craggly sidewalks in our neighborhood. going up and down curbs is pretty smooth too since it has a lot of "give" the way it's attached. we joked that her leg muscles might go to jelly from disuse since she was perfectly content to stand on that thing all day, but it turns out that she does like to get off to explore areas on her own when they are interesting enough. but she has not once asked to sit down. anyone who sees it thinks that it's a fun add-on and you can tell that other parents are intrigued too. this has completely solved our problem of needing to get our little girl to come with us quickly somewhere without having to carry her or spend a lot of time coaxing her to walk. the one drawback is that even with our extended handles on the stroller and me being 5'2" i do still sometimes kick the wheels/platform occasionally but it's totally not a deal breaker for us. hope this helps!

I was so excited to get the Valco Baby Hitch Hiker Ride on Board for my daughter, who has a Chico stroller. However, when it arrived there was no way to make it work. You need a stroller that has open handles, or handles that will extend far enough so the child can stand inside the handle bars. I'm sure I'm not the first person to find out that Chico strollers do not work with this product. It would be helpful if they would put that in their remarks, instead of "fits most strollers". As for the quality, it seemed to be good, but since it didn't work, I really can't say.

I have this on my 2011 bob revo single for my almost 4 year old- fits like a gem! Very sturdy, no wobbling. Nice and high/wide wheels so i can walk under the board w/o interfearing much with my walking (had this problem when i tried the mutsy board so i had to return it). you can even fold the bob with it on, it's just a big bigger of course. Very smooth ride- can go up/down curbs too, no problems. My kids love this thing and i was ready to be done with a double bob as it was really big indoors. I would not get a board for your kid until they are 3 as it takes some maturity. My 2 year old does love to hope on too though for quick rides too! Great buy even if it's pricey : Saves my sanity as my almost 4 year old gets very whiny and tired when we are out!!!
